PALM DESERT, Calif. — The American Hockey League (AHL) All-Star Classic is scheduled for this weekend, Feb. 2-3, at the newly constructed Acrisure Arena, home of the Coachella Valley Firebirds. The event promises an exciting weekend of hockey, fan engagement, and community outreach in Southern California.
How to Watch:
The event will be broadcast live on NHL Network in the United States, TSN in Canada, and streamed on AHLTV via FloHockey, with coverage spanning both days.
Feb. 2: Skills Competition:
The weekend will begin with the AHL All-Star Skills Competition on Sunday at 9 p.m. ET / 6 p.m. PT. Players from the league’s four divisions — Atlantic, North, Central, and Pacific — will compete in a variety of events, including fastest skater, hardest shot, accuracy shooting, and breakaway relays. Fans can anticipate an exciting evening of competition, as well as interactive activities that celebrate the league’s top talent.

Feb. 3: A Full Day of Hockey and Community Engagement:
The following day, the event will continue with a community outreach initiative in Palm Desert, where players, teams, and volunteers will come together to support a local cause (details to be announced).

The weekend will culminate with the AHL All-Star Challenge, a series of fast-paced 3-on-3 games. The East (Atlantic and North Divisions) and West (Central and Pacific Divisions) will face off for bragging rights, with some of the league’s top talent competing for the honor of being named All-Star champions.
