The Vancouver Canucks were handed their third straight loss this season by the Tampa Bay Lightning. At their delayed home-opener game, after Hurricane Milton paved its way through Florida, Tampa was able to finish strong for their fans with a final score of 4-1.

Nikita Kucherov had a point on all of the Lightning’s first five goals to start the season. Only Connor McDavid (9, 2018-19), Adam Oates (7, 1986-87), Andre Boudrias (6 1973-74), Bill Cowley (6, 1938-39), and Aurele Joliat (6, 1929-30) have longer streaks.
