The AHL All-Star Classic brought the heat, delivering non-stop excitement as the league’s brightest stars showed off their skills on a night packed with speed, precision, and power. Fans were on the edge of their seats as players battled through jaw-dropping competitions and fierce divisional matchups.
From blazing speed in the CCM Fastest Skater, where Matthew Savoie left everyone in his dust, to pinpoint shooting in Silvercrest Accuracy Shooting dominated by Dalibor Dvorský, the talent on display was unreal. The Inglaso Puck Control Relay highlighted next-level stickhandling, while Fortune Tires Rapid Fire kept goalies on their toes. The arena shook with the power of Trevor Carrick in the CCM Hardest Shot, and the Silvercrest Pass and Score event was a masterclass in teamwork. It all came down to the Upper Deck Breakaway Relay, where players pulled out all the stops with creative, highlight-reel moves.
The night wasn’t just about speed and skill; the goalies put on a show, too. Dennis Hildeby and Michael DiPietro stood tall between the pipes, earning recognition as the event’s top goaltenders with jaw-dropping saves that left shooters shaking their heads. And when it was all said and done, Kevin Korchinski stole the spotlight, taking home MVP honors for his standout performance and leadership on the ice.
Pacific came out swinging, taking down North and Atlantic before facing a tough Central squad. Atlantic showed serious grit with wins over North and Central, while North fought hard but couldn’t close it out. In the end, Central stood tall, claiming the championship with consistency and clutch play. As the crowd roared and the players celebrated, it was clear—this year’s AHL All-Star event was unforgettable. With Central on top, the countdown to next year’s showdown is already on.
